Goresbridge Go For Gold Sale 2011

Goresbridge announced last week further details of their Go for Gold Sale of select event horses, due to take place later this year on November 2nd and 3rd.
Aside from firming up the selection dates, they have confirmed that the top 6 prize winners in the Young Event Horse class at the RDS, the Future Event Horse League (FEHL) final and of the FEHL league will be offered an automatic invitation to the sale.
Through this connection with the FEHL, Goresbridge is to sponsor the transport costs of their 4 and 5 year old champions if they wish to take up the invitation to compete in the Burghley Young Event Horse Final in England.
The first selection day for the Go for Gold Sale takes place at Scarteen, Co. Limerick on August 22nd, followed by Lambertstown, Co. Meath on August 23rd and Barnadown, Co. Wexford on August 25th.

The recent Goresbridge Go for Gold Sale in Co. Wexford brought a few changes to the
yard at Scarteen as we said goodbye to “Raiho” who has now joined Irish Olympic team
member Camilla Speirs for the 2013 season -
We also welcomed Kilcannon Good Guy into the yard. Purchased by Robin Walker, the 3 year old will be brought on by Emma and Jason before heading for the USA.

Scarteen has been a hive of activity in recent days as Hector Ó hEochagáin joined Chris, Sue, Emma & Jason to film a feature for his new RTÉ series; “Hector Goes.” The feature aims to demonstrate the place hunting has in life in rural Ireland and captured the family involvement in the field sport. Produced by Good Company Productions, the programme will air on RTÉ One on Monday 28th January 2013.
